...it would have been a generally bad day had I not received your incredible handiwork. Simply holding it, cheered me greatly. For the first time, I truly understood precisely what Theodore Roosevelt meant when he said, "Talk softly and carry a big stick." I can already tell that walking with this beautiful cane will help imbue me with that kind of confidence. (The gradation in the circumference of the shaft, by the way, is wonderful.) The wood is beautifully expressed, the brass fittings are exquisite. And the combination feels like a sturdy, reliable friend to the hand. I cannot wait to use it and am selfishly glad that so few people have the wisdom to go with Zebra Wood. The cane is truly unique, and I simply love it. You are clearly a master craftsman, and I look forward to expressing my gratitude more fully when we speak.

I just returned from a long walk on the streets of Copenhagen accompanied by my new Santa Fe Stick. Its beautiful cocobolo body and the thoroughly superb craftsmanship discreetly accentuate my flâneurish tendencies and it will undoubtedly remain a trusted companion on walks throughout the world in many years to come.

I used to race motorcycles and after breaking many bones, including my back, sometimes I have a real hard time getting around. Using a cane on and off for the past 7 years, I thought it would be nice to get a new one.

One day I was browsing on the computer and came across Santa Fe Sticks. Not knowing what to expect, I received one of the most amazing canes I have ever seen. The quality is out of this world. Everywhere I go people ask me what kind of wood is it. Dalmatian ebony, I tell them. They’ve they never seen anything like it. Neither have I. What a great find...lucky me.

Michael and Jack at Santa Fe Sticks,

Today I received the package containing the cocobolo walking stick with mun ebony knob handle. After opening the box and unwrapping the bubble paper, I found my walking stick. I was expecting a very nice walking stick. However, I was totally blown away by the magnificence of the walking stick. Michael and Jack thank you for this beautiful walking stick

The world's population can easily be divided into three categories: people who carry sticks, people who don't understand why anyone carries sticks, and people who should be beaten with sticks.-- Colonel J.M.

I tore my ACL about a year ago playing soccer with my boys. There's just no way to fully recover, but I'm getting around okay now after serious rehab. I wanted a really beautiful cane to make the whole slightly unconfident feeling go away. Mission accomplished! My mun ebony stick is a pure joy to own and use. Thanks, guys!

I'm into classic style. I wear a fedora most days, and have my suits tailored. The only thing that was missing was a truly elegant walking stick. Thank you, Michael, for the most beautiful wooden object I have ever seen! I love my zebrawood stick, and I carry it everywhere.--George Schaeffer, St. Louis, MO

He said, 'Hey, man, give me your money,' and then he said, 'AOW!'--Joe H.

So I hand that beautiful Dalmatian ebony cane to her, and she asks me how you draw the sword--and my mom is 80, so I explained that the Dalmatian ebony is strong enough to be used as a sword but she still looked a little disappointed; that was three weeks ago, and my sister tells me she carries the thing everywhere with her and tells people there's a sword in it. Makes you wonder about our family....--Marty S., Galisteo, NM

I have a medium sized dog, a Lab-Schnauzer mix which I take for walks on the leash along with my Ebony cane. The neighbor's Alsatian liked to charge us as we go by until I applied a little flick to the snout which resulted in a quick turnabout. Of course my dog would be quite happy if I would cast the cane so he could go retrieve it.--Mark Little, Los Angeles, Ca.

I live down in New Orleans and post Katrina I have had the occasion to use my Cocobolo Santa Fe Stick twice. I had heard how tough Cocobolo was but with the stainless steel tip added it took out two big fat water moccasins who took up residence in my garage between my back door and my truck.--Jason LaBlanc, N.O.,La.
